Arrive Medjugorje - Day 1

Check in at Dublin/Cork Airport. Our representative will be on hand to assist you. Depart and arrival in Dubrovnik. On arrival at Dubrovnik Airport you will be met by our Pilgrimage Director, David Parkes, and his team of guides. Transfer by motor coach to Medjugorje is 2.30hrs. Upon arrival in Medjugorje you will be taken to your accommodation and introduced to your host family. Light snack or dinner will be served depending on time of arrival.

Tour of the Shrine -Day 2

Breakfast. Holy mass for English speaking pilgrims at 10.00 am in the church of St. James. Following Mass, opening meeting and introduction to shrine of Our Lady Queen of Peace. In the afternoon`, talk by one of the Medjugorje priests on the messages of Our Lady. Dinner, followed by evening programme in the Church of St. James which begins at 6.00 pm with the rosary. The time of the apparition of Our Lady is usually marked by a moment of silence at 6.40 pm. The programme continues with evening Mass at 7.00 pm, in Croatian, and is followed by the blessing of religious articles, prayers for healing (all Languages) and the Glorious Mysteries. After the evening programme we may visit the Statue Of The Risen Lord for a prayer service.

Hill of Apparitions (phdbrdo) - Day 3

Early breakfast. Meet with your guides at the church to walk through the vineyards,over to the Hillof Apparitions (phdbrdo). There you will hear the story of the the first days of the apparitions and then we will climb in prayer to the site of the first apparition. Time for quiet prayer at this extraordinary place of peace. Holy mass for english speaking pilgrims at 10.00 am in the church of St James. After mass again there is usually a talk by one of the Medjugorje preists on the message of Our Lady or a meeting with one of the visionaries. Dinner. The evening programme begins as usual at 6.00 pm after Holy Mass instead of the Glorious Mysteries of the rosary.

Meet with the Visionaries - Day 4

Early breakfast. Your guides will take you to meet with Vicka or another visionaries for a talk and prayers with these very special young people. Holy Mass for English speaking pilgrims at 10.00 am in the church of St,James. In the afternoon there will be an optional visit to the parish priest of Fr Jozo (the parish priestin 1981,at the time of the first apparitions) for a talk and healing service. Fr,Jozo lives about 25 Km away (the coach fare for this excursion is not included in your package). Dinner. The evening begins as usual at 6.00 pm however this evening there will be veneration of The Cross after Holy Mass instead of the Glorious Mysteries of the rosary

Visit to Cennacolo Center - Day 5

Holy Mass for English speaking pilgrims at 10.00 am in the church of St James. This afternoon your guide will take you to the cennacolo,which is a community for recovering drug addicts,which use only prayers, fasting and hard work,to heal from their addictions. This is a very powerful encounter.Dinner. As usual the parish and all pilgrims gather for the rosary at 6.00 pm in the church, followed by Holy Mass at 7.00 pm and the Glorious Mysteries of the rosary. On Saturday's there is adoration of the Blessed Sacrament for all pilgrims (in all languages) from 10.00 pm till 11.00 pm.

Cross Mountain (krizevac) - Day 6

Breakfast with a very early start for our climb up the Cross Mountain (krizevac) , there we will pray the stations of the cross as we make our way to the summit and pray at the foot of the cross which was built by the parish in 1993. Of this cross Our Lady once said "this Cross was always in God's plan for Medjugorje". Your guides will also take a few moments to share how and why the cross came to be built here. On Sunday Holy Mass for the English speaking pilgrims is at 12.00 noon. The afternoon is always free on Sunday for your own personal prayer and reflection. Dinner. The evening we as a group, will hold our own Prayer and Healing Service with the Spiritual Director of our group.

Meeting with the Visionaries - Day 7

Early breakfast and a last visit to meet with another of the visionaries for a talk and prayers. Holy Mass for the English speaking pilgrims at 10.00 am in the church of St,James. After mass we will hold our closing meeting for the week and prayers. In the afternoon we will visit the Blue Cross, at the base of Apparition Hill,a very special place of many Apparitions of Our Lady.Dinner. The Rosary begins at 6.00 pm,with Holy Mass at 7.00 pm and as usual healing prayers and the Glorious Mysteries.

Leaving Medjugorje - Day 8

Breakfast. Holy Mass for our group.The coaches will collect you from your houses and will depart for the airport and your return flight to Ireland. We will include a stop on the coach for refreshments as this is a longer journey. Our transfers always include our own guides who will take excellent care of you. You will arrive back in Dublin at 11am to beign the second part of your pilgrimage.

Please Note: The above programme is optional and does not include other arrangements which groups like to make during their pilgrimage. The above programme often changes slightly from this one, depending on which of the visionaries and priests are in Medjugorje at the time of your visit. As most of the programme is outdoors the timetable may vary according to weather.
